Recently I purchased new chairs for outside the barn.  They are supposed to be for clients and their families.  I'm gonna pretend that D!esel was just making sure they were comfy.  

The Eagle has Landed...really

Amazing surprise at Meadow Creek Farm.  This guy was about a football field and a half away in our top pasture.  I had my camera zoomed in as far as I could go, but without my tripod, had some camera shake.  I am still thrilled I was able to capture him.  Breathtaking.

I think these two are gonna be busy today

More snow...ugh...I'm hopeful that Spring is just running a little late.  

But, in the meantime, these two are gonna be busy.  They make a nice pair.

Frozen

Last week temps here at the farm reached a scary low.  So low in fact that our stream practically froze over.  Luckily our horses are smart, skilled and savvy.  They found spots to drink from no problem.

Nostalgia

Black and White photos are nostalgic to me.  They seem vintage and lend an elegance to whatever is being photographed.  I love my farm in Black and White.  LOVE it.

The prediction was for 1-3".  Woopsie...we got just over 8".  Mark was happy...he got to use the new snowblower.  So glad HE likes doing this stuff.  I was happy to snuggle on the couch with the kitties and watch holiday movies.
