Seti turns 32!! Birthday Serenade.

Today Seti turns 32.  We love this little mare.  Sometimes grumpy, but always loving to the children that visit our farm.  We are grateful for her and her little attitude.  I'm happy to sing to her each year and hope that there are many more serenades in our future together.

Windblown...

Seti is so very special to us.  She has really blossomed in her new role of helping individuals with Special Needs.  She just loves her special friends...really loves them.  She'll turn 32 in April and personally I hope she lives to be 100.

A horse just "nose"...

Our horses are so smart...and they have cute, cute noses.  Only the nose knows.

Seti turns 31!

It's hard to believe that this little spitfire of a mare is 31 today.  Wow!  We love her to pieces and hope she sticks around for many, many years.

Loved

Recently a new student over heard me telling her Dad that Seti enjoyed being brushed, braided and generally loved on.  After the student and her Dad left for the day, I noticed this...a braid for Seti.  Wow...so nice to be loved.  I think this little girl is going to be a terrific student.  She already 'gets' it.  

Seti turns 30!!!

Keeping with tradition...I sang Happy Birthday to Seti this morning.  I think she really enjoyed it.

This mare is wise waaaaaayyyy beyond her 29 years...with a personality to boot.  Lucky us!

Seti turns 29! Yippee!!

I just know you all had your calendars marked for Seti's birthday and the subsequent singing that would take place.  But really, we are so grateful to have this mare.  She has provided us with an abundance of entertainment.  Enjoy the show!!

A nap before dinner

Seti is so smart. She patiently waits her turn to come into the barn for meals. This wise mare stays out of harms way…on the other side of the bridge. Sometimes she even catches a little shut eye…dozing in the sun is a great way to pass the time before dinner.
