My Little Snow Friends...

I feel so "un"crafty compared to my coworkers.  A woman I work with makes these adorable little guys.  Holy cow...I just can't stand the cuteness!!  Smiles for miles.  

My Rockin' Secret Santa

I belong to a Google Group of fellow horse owners.  We are a tight knit crew of passionate equestrian women.  We have become great friends even though we are scattered over the US.  This year we decided to have a Secret Santa gift exchange.  The only rule was that the items we exchanged had to be homemade (by us or by someone else).  What great fun!  My gift arrived this past week.  Wow is all I can say.  WOW!  Everything was homemade right down to the labels on the homemade laundry soap.  (which BTW, is for sale.  $10 a bag.  100% All natural...and much, much more. In the little package was a magnificent homemade lavender soap.  Luscious, lovely, luxurious lavender.  I love my gifts...they are so, so special.  Just like the friend that sent them.  Thank you Secret Santa (Clarissa).  You ROCK!!!

I love YooHoos...always have.  Heck, I think I even love them more than Vanilla Coke.  (that's saying ALOT).  So, when I have the opportunity to partake in a YooHoo...I feel the need to perform the YooHoo Happy Dance.  It's really funny.  Trust me.  Don't believe me?  Ask Mark.

A perfect Sunday

This is my idea of the perfect Sunday.  Spending time with my man on our horses at Pretty Boy Reservoir.  Sweet bliss.

Cheech proudly wears her Ravens purple.  She's a loyal fan.

Cheech was moving out.  She likes to pass Buddy...makes her feel fast.  (She was actually cheating...Buddy had stopped so I could take a photo of them)

It's tough being Queen

As the only female feline on the farm, CB has quite the job.  I don't envy her at all.  I mean really...look how exhausted she looks?!

A Good Day's Work

Cheech did a great job on Saturday.  She introduced EAL (Equine Assisted Learning) in a divine fashion.  She's so humble...can you just see her saying, "Awwww shucks...it was nothin'!"

So fun sharing the power of horses with people.  We are eager to do more!

November 7, 1966

Mark was born.  

I am so happy that event occurred.  

I can't imagine my life without this guy. 

Happy Birthday Babe!!

I get by with a little help from my friends...

Billy is a great help at feeding time.  

He keeps watch over my four wheeler while I throw hay to the field care horses.

Thankfully he can't reach the kick start, or I can tell he'd be off joy riding around the farm.  I can just see it in his eyes.

Hurricane Sandy's Wrath

Our farm faired rather well.  My heart goes out to those who are experiencing tremendous loss.  Mark and I are very grateful we did not suffer any significant damage to property or animals.  Although...the kitties definitely felt the stress of the storm...and they are POOPED!

Billy sought shelter in the coffee table.  (on my photography books and laptop case)

CB chose her (MY) favorite brown fleecy blanket.  Well sort of.

Poor Diesel.  He collapsed in my bag of clean laundry.  Ugh.

I'll be posting a few pics of the stream in the next few days.  It was very full to say the least.

Halloween 2012

We did not disappoint.

When we first got to the party, Mark took off running into the house with me in hot pursuit yelling, "Lance, you have to pee in this cup!"  He was yelling back, "I didn't do it!  I'm NOT doping!"
