It's been a busy season for our barn swallows. This is the 5th brood of babies. We gots lots of barn swallows at Meadow Creek Farm. Lots and lots. I think it's our 5 star accommodations.

Getting to spend a week at the beach with this guy, is the best birthday gift a girl could ever ask for.  So grateful for him, my family and my wonderful life.  Smiles for MILES!!!

GREAT way to start my weekend...

I mean it when I tell you that I love the work I am doing at the farm with some VERY special people.  I look forward to each lesson.  Thank you to those who trust in me and this work.  I'm so grateful that my horses and I are able to help.  :)

ChiChi Turned 9!

Oh how she's grown.  I still remember when I adopted her...she was much smaller but still just as sweet.  This mare occupies a large part of my heart and I am truly grateful 

that she lives at Meadow Creek Farm.

Remember when I bought this?  And I was predicting a banner year?  Well the flood gates have opened and Calm Acres at Meadow Creek Farm is surpassing all of my expectations.  

Each day the horses are helping people.  

Today I setup a booth at a local Non-Profit Yard Sale.  It was amazing!  So many people to chat with about the work we do at Calm Acres.  So many opportunities to share stories about the horses and the people they help.  I even had a few clients visit me...total highlight.  

I sold some stuff...made $38 for Calm Acres.  Not bad for a fun day with friends.

Whenever I can share my philosophy, heart and soul with regards to the work I do at Calm Acres (at Meadow Creek Farm), I jump at the opportunity.  I truly feel it is a chance to share a piece of what I love about my farm.

It's hard to believe that this little spitfire of a mare is 31 today.  Wow!  We love her to pieces and hope she sticks around for many, many years.

A Banner Year

I've recently received a lot of interest in my non-profit.  It excites me to no end...for many reasons.  I think it's gonna be a banner year.  :)

Fun with Braids

One of my Clients at Calm Acres asked if she could braid one of the horse's mane.  

So we did.  And, it turned out GREAT!

Anniversaries...

I love him...he loves me.  It's our Anniversary!  

Yes...on April Fool's Day.  Go figure...very fitting.
