Cherry Tree

Each horse on the farm has a tree.  Two Dogwoods for Seti and Quest, a Red Bud for Buddy and a Cherry Tree for Cheech.  This is Cheech's tree.  Isn't it pretty!?

ChiChi turns 8!

I can still remember when I adopted Cheech.  She had just turned one.  She loaded right in the trailer, but when we got home, she had decided the trailer was fine.  

She was not at all interested in leaving the safety of that trailer.  

It wasn't until we brought Seti over, and Cheech saw her that she was convinced 

that Meadow Creek Farm was alright.

Quest

Today Quest would have been 27.  I miss this guy. He was very special to me and 

I am still very happy for the 15 years we shared together.  

Sooooo...Happy Birthday Quest!  

You lucked out...I can't sing to you on video.  

Ol!ver the Great

Yup...he's still here and doing wonderfully.  This Friday is his appointment to get (guys hold your ears...close your eyes), snipped.  I haven't told Ol!ver yet, but think when I do he will give me a look just like this.  Say WHAAAAAAA?

One of the most amazing horses ever...

Everyone who knows me, knows that Quest was my Soul Horse...he left me suddenly in 2007 and I was pretty confident that there would never be a horse that could occupy the same space in my heart.  Then there was Buddy.  He is VERY special...and is pretty damn close to giving Quest's heart occupancy a run for its money.  I think Quest would be okay with it...I really do.  

Therapy Horses Meet

 I'd say it went very well.

I'm excited for the workshop we are holding in early June.

(I think Cheech has a boyfriend now.  Big Brother Buddy seems okay with it.)

Or should I say, "Light on the Bud's Buds"?  I think our Red Bud is going to be spectacular this year.  Just sayin'.
