Journeyman Mark

This coming October, Mark will travel to KY to test for his Journeyman Certification in drystack stone walling.  To prepare, he must do a whole list of "types of stacking".  Too many for me to remember....so I called him and got the list.  I'm resourceful like that.  (4ft retaining wall, curved wall, lintel and four tops)  Wow!

Lucky for me, he will likely (okay definitely) do all of them on our farm.  Yay!  Below is the wall he is finishing now.  If you remember, this is the wall Mark started to complete two components for his first certification.  (a wall head and vertical coping).   I am always amazed by his talents.  Amazed.  He hugs and kisses good too.  I certified him in that.
