In an attempt help you understand how difficult this project was...think of that pair of jeans you own. You know the ones. They're tight, but you keep them anyway. You avoid the dryer like the plague. But even after avoiding the dryer, they are like a second skin...and God forbid you have a dime in the front pocket. A dime you must get.
Getting that dime...that's what it was like to put this new cover on the tent...under the old cover. Oie! Suck it in.
Dare I ask WHY you had to put it UNDER the old cover and not over??
ReplyDeleteWell...as Mark instructed me, that old cover is mad tied down to the frame...like hard core tight tied down. Other than not really being as water proof as we'd like, it was in okay condition. Mark figured why go to the trouble of removing the old one...let's just add a new water proof one underneath. Solved the problem and actually cut the work in half. Although at the time, I was not so sure.
